JASON DONOVAN and STEVE STRANGE are both on UK television screens as part of reality TV shows. Donovan is the favourite to win the new series of 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' while Strange is one of the competing celebrities in hairstyling competition 'Celebrity Scissorhands'.

BRONSKI BEAT's STEVE BRONSKI has been working with Irish electro act The Garland Cult on remixes of their track 'Talking With Aliens' which will be featured on the band's debut album next year.

CHINA CRISIS have announced an eight-date UK tour in January and February. The tour will play at specially chosen intimate venues and is expected to accompany the release of a live DVD. See

CYNDI LAUPER is among guests on DIONNE WARWICK's new album of duets 'My Friends And Me'. Other guests include Kelis and Gladys Knight.

GEORGE MICHAEL is to play a very special show at London's Roundhouse on December 20th as part of the tour to promote his new collection '25'. Tickets for the show will only be available for nurses and the show is in tribute to their work.

THOMAS DOLBY has settled his dispute with Britney Spears' husband Kevin Federline out of court and is quoted as saying 'I'm going to buy a new sailboat, find a quiet anchorage somewhere, make myself a cup of tea and write some brand new songs.' The lawsuit involved Federline's unauthorised sampling of Dolby's hit 'She Blinded Me With Science' in his song 'America's Most Wanted'.

QUEEN's 'Greatest Hits' is the UK's best-selling album of all time according to a new list compiled by The Official UK Charts Company. The Queen release has sold 5.4 million copies to date heading a list which also includes DIRE STRAITS in fourth place with 'Brothers In Arms', ABBA's 'Gold' fifth, and MICHAEL JACKSON's 'Thriller' and 'Bad' at eighth and ninth, MADONNA's 'Immaculate Collection' at tenth and SIMPLY RED's 'Stars' in eleventh place.

DURAN DURAN
have confirmed that the track they recently recorded in collaboration with Justin Timberlake will be included on their forthcoming album, which also features three tracks produced by hip-hop producer Timbaland, and is expected to be released sometime next year.

THE SPECIALS' JERRY DAMMERS and TERRY HALL will be among artists participating in a special anti-racism show in London on November 30th. 'Love Music Hate Racism' is being curated by Babyshambles bassist Drew McConnell and will take place at Fabric.

BELOUIS SOME's eight-minute video for 'Imagination' is one of the rare videos featured on a new Australian DVD collection 'Chartbusting 80s' from the TV show of the same name. Other artists include INXS, HUMAN LEAGUE, HEAVEN 17, TEARS FOR FEARS, DURAN DURAN and MADNESS.

ADAM AND THE ANTS' much delayed DVD 'Digital Tenderness' looks set to be released on December 11th after being re-edited so it doesn't include some early footage which couldn't be cleared for release.

CULTURE CLUB have postponed their December reunion tour - which was to feature original members JON MOSS and MIKEY CRAIG with keyboard player Phil Pickett and singer Sam Butcher - blaming recording commitments for the delay.

SPANDAU BALLET's 'To Cut A Long Story Short' has been sampled by Freestylers in their forthcoming dance track 'In Love With You'.

PAUL WELLER will play three very special shows in New York on January 19th-21st. The trio of gigs, organised to coincide with the release of 'Hit Parade', a four-CD retrospective of Weller's career as a solo artist as well as with THE JAM and THE STYLE COUNCIL. The first of the shows at the Irving Plaza will mainly feature material from The Jam, the second night will feature Style Council songs and the final night will feature tracks from all stages of his career.

BILLY IDOL's Christmas album 'Happy Holidays' - featuring a selection of the former GENERATION X frontman's favourite Christmas tracks including Silent Night, White Christmas and Frosty The Snowman - will get a UK release on December 4th.

LATIN QUARTER's recently released 'Live At Full House Rock Show' DVD has been reviewed in the REVIEWS section.

CROWDED HOUSE's NEIL FINN and NICK SEYMOUR have reunited to work on songs for Finn's next solo album which will be released in 2007 and the duo are also expected to tour to support the release.
