17 Jan 2010 - Suede To Re-form

Suede have announced that they will be re-forming (without Bernard Butler) to perform at the Albert Hall in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust in March. The Albert Hall event was started by Roger Daltrey in 2000 and has been held annually since 2002.

Suede's eponymous first album was one of the fastest selling debut albums of all time and the follow-up, Dog Man Star is widely regarded as one of the best of the Britpop era. They last performed together in a farewell gig at the Astoria in London's Charing Cross Road in December 2003.

Since the band split, Brett Anderson has pursued a solo career and was reunited with Bernard Butler for one album as The Tears. Bernard Butler has turned his hand to production, working on Duffy's solo album and mixing tracks for Guillemots front-man Fyfe Dangerfield's solo album.
