DURAN DURAN have announced two more US shows this summer with news of dates at the Marymoor Amphitheatre in Redmond, WA on July 5th and the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA on July 8th. The band are also planning a DVD/CD release 'Duran Duran - Live In Hammersmith '82' and a 2-CD special edition of their 'Rio' album on June 29th. The live set will include the band's concert alongside Top Of The Pops performances and videos, while the 'Rio' release will include the UK version of the album, the original US Harvest album remixes,demos, B-sides and remixes. RICK ASTLEY and KID CREOLE AND THE COCONUTS will headline three outdoor HERE AND NOW shows which are scheduled to take place at Doncaster Racecourse and Newmarket Racecourse in June, and Whitehaven's Copelands Stadium in August. THE ALARM and THE DAMNED have announced a joint UK tour with STIFF LITTLE FINGERS' Henry Cluney in support. ROXETTE are considering reforming according to the band's PER GESSLE. The duo have been inactive since 2004 when they reunited briefly to mark Roxette's 25th anniversary but Gessle has said that it is likely they will record together again, although not necessarily with a view to playing live. SANDRA has released a new album 'Back to Life' and is set to release a new single entitled 'The Night Is Still Young' in May. MIDGE URE has announced solo dates around the UK between August and the end of the year. See GIGS for all the dates. BUCKS FIZZ have reunited with original member JAY ASTON and will appear live with the group for the first time since 1985 at London club G.A.Y on May 16th, however SHELLEY PRESTON, who replaced Aston in Bucks Fizz when she originally departed, has now left the band and will instead be concentrating on her work with CLOUDFISH. BOYTRONIC have completed work on a new album which will be released by Major Records later this year.
