12 Apr 2009 - Hue & Cry News

Hi all,

Hue And Cry pop up in the most unexpected places... and one of them coming up is our special guest slot with The Human League at Thetford Forest (Suffolk) on 9th July! We brothers Kane are big fans of the League - Greg particularly likes Phil Oakey, Pat loves their synthesizers - and it should be a great day out for all concerned. We're taking the full band, so the Forest will be trembling with funk and soul! Hope to see some of you there, it's also a beautiful part of the world...

We're also getting ready for our Burns Festival headline gig in Ayr on 22nd May. We'll be doing a lot of the songs you've been suggesting through our Private Stage channel on the Hue And Cry Music Club, and there may even be a few Burns songs in there too. As we're doing a piano-and-vocal set, it's a great opportunity to explore the richness and depth of these songs.

Keep in touch with us at the Hue And Cry Music Club, where we do regular video content updates, give you the opportunity to meet with fellow fans, and stay in touch with the whole Hue And Cry community.

best wishes,
Pat and Greg
