Hi all,
Just recovering from our Open Soul...Open Road tour - and it has to be said, one of the best tours we've done in 20-odd years. Musically, venue-wise, and especially the audience... We've so enjoyed all the videos, photos, messages, comments - and collages! - that you've uploaded to the Hue And Cry Music Club from the tour. It was designed to bring you right into the heart of what we do as musicians, and it seems to be working - with your participation! We're on it all the time, so see you there...
And it's great to be able to announce a one-off and very special gig - we're headlining the Burns An’ A’ That! Festival in Ayr this year. At least one of us has sung Burns songs to tired children at bed-time ever since the early nineties, and doubtless whirled ourselves around ceilidh dance floors before that... so it's a great honour to play at it.
Lots more in the pipeline for 2009 - keep reading these mails and you'll hear about them here first...
best, love, Pat and Greg x ??
