Kylie Minogue will not appear at next year's Glastonbury Festival, organisers have revealed. The Aussie pop rocket was expected to headline the closing day of the 2007 event, after pulling out of 2005's festival following her breast cancer diagnosis.

However, Emily Eavis appears to have categorically ruled out Kylie's involvement, insisting "it's just not going to happen".
"She's got a lot of touring up her sleeve and I think if she was going to do Glastonbury, she'd rework her show and I don't think it's going to be possible in that time frame. It's just not going to happen," she told the BBC, before stating that Bruce Springsteen is also not on the prospective bill.

Eavis, who refused to be drawn on any of the acts playing, also said that both The Killers and Muse had been ruled out for Glastonbury 2007.
