Remarkable message from The Sun Newspaper:

Today I am launching a campaign for the re-release of the Dead or Alive classic You Spin Me Round (Like A Record). Everyone in The Sun office has been humming it since Pete Burns went in to the Big Brother house and - admit it - you've been doing it too. I'd love to see Pete,??perform it again - and scores of readers have called me trying to find a copy.

The track, produced by Stock, Aitken and Waterman was a no.1 in 1985.

Pete Waterman told me: "It would be great to have Pete in the charts because he's a brilliant bloke. "When the song came out it was revolutionary because of all the drum beats and sampling. Don't forget, we didn't have the technology we have now". A spokesman for Sony BMG, who owns rights to the song said: "We want to bring it out again - we're talking to Pete Burn's manager."

Email me at biz@the-sun.co.uk and tell me what you think.

15 Jan 2006 - Kylie: Radiation Therapy

Kylie Minogue is still receiving treatment following her breast cancer diagnosis but there has been no recurrence of the disease, her publicist said.

A statement issued in response to reports that the 37-year-old had been given the all-clear said she wants to return to work, but "at this point in time Kylie's treatments are continuing". Friends say the star, who was undergoing treatment in Paris, is back in Australia with her family. She received final test results last Friday, which showed there were no more cancerous cells. Kylie was expected to start daily radiation treatment to prevent the return of the disease and only after another six months would she be officially in remission and all clear,??a newspaper said.

Kylie's publicist said today: "On May 21st last year Kylie's surgeon announced that the operation to remove the cancer was successful. Since that time Kylie has been undergoing treatments to prevent a return of the cancer. Kylie remains keen to return to work and in particular to re-schedule the Showgirl Tour of Australia. Fortunately we are still able to say we have received no news of a re-occurrence of the cancer; however at this point in time Kylie's treatments are continuing."

Kylie had been undergoing chemotherapy in Paris after having a partial mastectomy in Melbourne, Australia, in May when she found a lump in her left breast.
