11 Mar 2006 - New Singles Out Soon

??

With the departure of the irreplaceably feisty founder member Mutya Buena, the chart topping Sugababes are on a mission to prove they are still the fiercest girls in pop with the release of the undeniably catchy 'Red Dress'. Strutting out of Top Shop with their high-end fashion imitations and menacing stilettos, the new-look-trio command everyone's attention with the stomping anthem 'Red Dress', dictating what they want and how they want it.

??Massive Attack are back with the brand new single 'Live With Me', featuring Terry Callier on vocals. Taken from the recent best of - 'Collected' - the track was written by Robert Del Naja, Neil Davidge and Terry Callier, and sees a return to a more soulful sound for Massive Attack, while retaining the lush production of their more recent albums.
??Girls Aloud continue their education with the release of their sublime new single 'Whole Lotta History'. The heartbreaking single about the end of a relationship is taken from the Girls' cutting edge pop masterpiece album 'Chemistry', which was lavished with heaps of praise when released at the end of last year, from five star reviews in the broadsheets to album of the months in the pop magazines.
??Joey Negro, the man behind chart-topping dance act Jakatta, has teamed up with Data Records, the home of recent hit by Tom Novy, to unleash the unbridled rapture of 'Make A Move On Me'. On the remixes, house legend Mark Knight steps up to offer two interpretations - the live drums and head banging funk of the 'Horns Of Rock Remix', and the techy bleeps 'n' clicks minimalism of the 'Toolroom Dub'. Other mixes come courtesy of Spen and The MuthaFunkaz, who offer up both dub and vocal re-rubs, combining the soul of the original with sun-drenched Balearic atmospherics and disco glamour.

Amber - Just Like That (Romeo And Juliet)

Producer: Wolfram Dettki / Genre: DANCE / Label: JMCA

Dance siren Amber continues to serve up cuts from her latest, perhaps greatest album, "My Kind of World". On "Just Like That (Romeo and Juliet),," she prepares the cut for tribal dancefloor warfare with mixes from Belmares & Preve, Solar City vs. DJ Rico, Jason Nevins, Corbo & Atchinson and Jeff Barringer. Each version adds appreciable spice to the guitar-infused original. Nevins maintains the grit of the guitars, while transforming the primary melody line into a nervous, enigmatic backbeat, all the while placing Amber's vocals far out in front. Solar City and Belmares & Preve offer the more high-energy, stadium anthemics that Amber fans may most appreciate, and Corbo & Atchinson's club mix is a more meandering and layered reworking. In all, Amber fans have a reason to celebrate: As usual, she remains front and center, letting the beats be her friend, but never the leader of the remix pack. — Chuck Taylor (Billboard Magazine)
