2008 was a great year for Will Young. A UK tour saw him perform to over 50,000 fans, his triumphant X Factor performance sent his album 'Let It Go' racing back up the charts to secure him a fourth consecutive Platinum album and the year culminated in a duet with Elton John on New Years Eve at London's 02 Arena.

Now Will Young returns with the single 'Let It Go'. The third single and title track from his album this is to be Will Young's last physical single release. Produced by Eg White, it features Nashville's incredible Love Sponge Strings and the release includes exclusive live tracks recorded at London's Cadogan Hall including Will Young's sublime cover of Joni Mitchell's 'Help Me'.

The??new single, "Method Of Modern Love / This Is Tomorrow" is out today. Thanks to??really devoted fans and easily bribed family members it's nearly sold out, but a limited number of copies are still available from Record Store. Alternatively, Rough Trade (East and West) will have a few signed copies as of today.

Sorry to overseas fans who have sent emails and messages, but an export edition IS coming soon with EVERYTHING on it and unique artwork. If you're desperate to own a non export copy and have a friend in the UK, perhaps they could buy for you?

Saint Etienne
have offered to record the official anthem for the 2012 Olympics, which will
take place in London. Sarah Cracknell and co look set to approach the British team behind
the sporting extravaganza in a bid to be chosen.
??
The pop trio have made no secret of their love of the UK capital, naming their forthcoming
greatest hits "London Conversations". Speaking about penning the anthem,
??
Sarah Cracknell told the BBC: "We would be the ideal band to do a soundtrack for the Olympics."
Bob Stanley continued: "I'd love to do it. I'll drop Seb Coe a line, I'll send him an e-mail today."
??
"London Conversations" is scheduled for release on February 16,
preceded by the new single "Method Of Modern Love" on February 9.

Parlophone/EMI have confirmed March 23rd as the release date for the new new Pet Shop Boys' album, "Yes", in a press release sent out to all media today.
The full text reads:

IN THE POP COLLABORATION OF THE YEAR, PET SHOP BOYS TEAM UP WITH PRODUCERS XENOMANIA FOR THEIR NEW STUDIO ALBUM “YES” WHICH WILL BE RELEASED ON PARLOPHONE ON MARCH 23. THE SINGLE “LOVE ETC” IS RELEASED ON MARCH 16.

In what is surely the pop collaboration of 2009, PET SHOP BOYS have teamed up with the hit production team Xenomania (Girls Aloud, Sugababes, Gabriella Cilmi etc) for their new studio album, “Yes”, which will be released on March 23rd.
Pet Shop Boys, who will receive the Outstanding Contribution To Music award at this years Brit Awards on February 18th, co-wrote three of the eleven new tracks on the album with Xenomania. The other tracks were written by Tennant/Lowe with a little assistance from Tchaikovsky on “All Over the world”. The album was produced by Brian Higgins/Xenomania.

Chris Lowe comments: "This album is amazing and it was great working with Xenomania!" Neil Tennant says: "It's a fantastic, wide-ranging, pop record."

Johnny Marr plays guitar on several tracks and orchestral arrangements on "Beautiful people" and "Legacy" are by Owen Pallett (Last Shadow Puppets, Final Fantasy).

The release of “Yes” will be preceded by the single “Love etc” on March 16. Pet Shop Boys describe the song as "a post-lifestyle anthem which sounds like nothing we’ve done before."

Pet Shop Boys are currently planning a very special performance at the Brit Awards in February. They have also co-written with Xenomania the current Girls Aloud single “The Loving Kind"; the two groups met when both were recording at Xenomania’s studio in Kent.
