Hi all,

Hue And Cry pop up in the most unexpected places... and one of them coming up is our special guest slot with The Human League at Thetford Forest (Suffolk) on 9th July! We brothers Kane are big fans of the League - Greg particularly likes Phil Oakey, Pat loves their synthesizers - and it should be a great day out for all concerned. We're taking the full band, so the Forest will be trembling with funk and soul! Hope to see some of you there, it's also a beautiful part of the world...

We're also getting ready for our Burns Festival headline gig in Ayr on 22nd May. We'll be doing a lot of the songs you've been suggesting through our Private Stage channel on the Hue And Cry Music Club, and there may even be a few Burns songs in there too. As we're doing a piano-and-vocal set, it's a great opportunity to explore the richness and depth of these songs.

Keep in touch with us at the Hue And Cry Music Club, where we do regular video content updates, give you the opportunity to meet with fellow fans, and stay in touch with the whole Hue And Cry community.

best wishes,
Pat and Greg

The first reissue of this seminal 1984 album 'Beat Boy', the third studio album recorded by the pioneers of the New Romantic movement, Visage.

This is the first time that the album has been available on CD in the UK. This album saw a change in musical direction with the introduction of new members to replace the departures of Midge Ure and Barry Adamson. The stylistic change saw the band move away from the band's electronic studio based sound to a more conventional band format. Visage were formed as supergroup of their day, formed by Steve Strange and ex-Rich Kid Rusty Egan, they recruited Billy Currie and Midge Ure from Ultravox, Dave Formula and Barry Adamson from Magazine and John McGeogh from Siouxsie & The Banshees. Members came and went but the band's core remained as Strange and Egan.

This CD reissue features 4 bonus tracks not included on the original 8 track release. These include extended mixes of the two singles taken from the album, 'Beat Boy' and 'Love Glove'.
