ERASURE have recorded a brand new version of their classic single 'A Little Respect' to raise funds for the Hetrick-Martin Institute in New York and CYNDI LAUPER's True Colors Foundation, as spreading a positive message of tolerance following the recent gay bullying and related suicides that have been reported in the US over the past several months. ADAM ANT has announced two London gigs this month, playing material from all stages of his career alongside selections from his forthcoming new album 'Adam Ant is the Blueblack Hussar in Marrying the Gunners Daughter' which is due for release next year. See NEWS for more details.

DURAN DURAN have released the first single from their new album 'All You Need Is Now' as a free download in advance of the release of the album which is scheduled for a digital release on December 21st. The single, the album's title track, is available now via iTunes.

BANANARAMA this week release their new festive single 'Baby It's Christmas' as a download single, available as a Radio Edit and Extended Mix as well as in three remixes by the Almighty.

TOYAH has announced that she will play a series of special gigs next year, playing key tracks from her first three albums 'Sheep Farming In Barnet', 'The Blue Meaning' and 'Anthem'. The majority of the 'From Sheep Farming to Anthem - Classics Revisited Live' dates will be announced soon, but one show, at Birmingham's HMV Institute, is already confirmed and will take place on April 16th. Meanwhile Toyah's band project, THE HUMANS, have announced that they have finished their second album, 'Sugar Rush', and will be announcing release details shortly.

THE HUE AND CRY GLASGOW KISS WEEKEND

Hue and Cry will be giving fans their own version of a Glasgow Kiss by performing two special shows in the city's ABC venue on Sauchiehall Street over valentines weekend this coming February. These shows have been inspired by the immense popularity of the History City Weekend in 2009 and the excitement surrounding the release of the resultant 'Bitter Suite, Again' deluxe album.

Friday, 11th February will see Pat and Greg Kane perform an up close and personal piano & vocal performance in the intimate surroundings of the venue's ABC2 room. Saturday, 12th February will see the brothers line up as part of the full seven piece band for a spectacular event in the venue's main ABC hall.

Tickets are now available individually for these shows as well as a PLATINUM PASS PACKAGE that provides tickets to both shows and admission to some amazing extras providing the ultimate in access to The Hue And Cry Glasgow Kiss Weekend.
