You may be vaguely aware that both Bob and Pete are vinyl junkies and are rarely to be seen without a small 7" shaped box when they are on dj'ing duties. It made incredibly good sense that, for 2011 Record Store Day, we should release some of the St Et singles that didn't come out on 7" the first time round.

Following on from the 2010 reissues of Bona Drag and Everyday Is Like Sunday, the Morrissey releases continue with 'The Very Best Of', a unique overview of the HMV/Parlophone years. As such, the album brings together hit singles like Suedehead, Everyday Is Like Sunday and The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get, with b-sides Girl Least Likely To, Such A Little Thing Makes A Big Difference and the previously unreleased solo version of Interlude (originally released in 1994 as a duet with Siouxsie Sioux).

Complementing the CD will be a bonus DVD, which includes eleven remastered promo videos (three of which are previously unavailable on DVD: Boxers, The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get and Sunny) and the rarely seen (and previously unreleased) live performance of I've Changed My Plea To Guilty taken from the 'Tonight With Jonathan Ross Show', December 1990.
