NEW ALBUM NEWS

??

Hi Everybody,

It's been a while since our last missive, but fear not this is for good reason as we've been plotting, hatching and other mysteriously creative verbs. Our new record deal is finally signed! The new album "Can I Borrow A Feeling" (not really called that) will be released early next year. We have been working with various different luminaries and are finally beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. A nice tunnel mind you, like a tunnel of love.

Our summer season of festivals is now over - thanks to all who came to see us. We a have a gig in Linz, Austria on the 31st October and are planning an Indonesian show before the end of the year.

There are other plans afoot which we don't want to jinx by mentioning but we'll email you as soon as we can.

In the mean time you might want to check out this interview that Bob recently did with legendary Rolling Stones manager and producer Andrew Loog Oldham here.

Love, Sarah Bob and Pete xxx

A judge has ruled that singer Morrissey has grounds to sue the IPC music magazine and its former editor, Conor McNicholas regarding an article published including his reported views on immigration.

Mr. Justice Tugendhat made the decision based on claims of “character assassination” brought forward by Morrissey’s management and legal teams. The singer says his reputation has been damaged ever since the interview was released.

An NME spokesperson said: "NME recently sought to strike out Morrissey's claim on grounds of a lengthy delay. After almost four years, we are glad that the matter will now proceed to trial and we will finally get the opportunity to bring this matter to a close."

In the 2007 interview, headlined “Big Mouth Strikes Again”, Morrissey was alleged to have made a series of controversial comments on immigration, including the quote: "The gates of England are flooded. The country's been thrown away??? Although I don't have anything against people from other countries, the higher influx into England, the more the British identity disappears."

The article was credited “interview Tim Jonze / words NME”.
