DEPECHE MODE have been nominated for two Grammys - 'Best Alternative Music Album' and 'Best Short Form Music Video' - at this year's awards. Elsewhere in the nominations BON JOVI and HALL & OATES are competing for 'Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals' and PET SHOP BOYS are up for 'Best Electronic/Dance Album' while PRINCE, U2, AC/DC, BRIAN SETZER, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, JUDAS PRIEST and ZIGGY MARLEY are also up for awards. The awards will take place in Los Angeles on January 31st. RICH KIDS forthcoming one-off reunion show at London's Islington Academy will feature a number of special guests including SPANDAU BALLET's GARY KEMP and CARBON/SILICON. See NEWS for more details. BLONDIE and SQUEEZE will be among the artists appearing at next year's Isle of Wight Festival on a bill that will also include sets from The Strokes, Pink, Orbital and Jay-Z. BOY GEORGE will release his take on the classic Christmas track 'White Christmas' as a download on December 13th. George has also announced UK tour dates for April 2010 in addition to his previously announced HERE AND NOW appearances. See GIGS for all the dates. Boy George will also play live on Jools Holland's New Year's Eve TV special which will broadcast live on BBC2 on December 31st at 11pm. THE HUMAN LEAGUE, MADNESS, BILL DRUMMOND and THE FALL have all been confirmed for next year's Camp Bestival which takes place in Dorset over the weekend July 30th to August 1st. KYLIE MINOGUE will release a live album entitled 'Kylie Live In New York' as a download on December 14th. The show was recorded at Kylie's recent show at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom and features 25 tracks while iTunes customers will also receive a further three bonus tracks. The track, one of two new tracks included on Madonna's recent 'Celebration' compilation, features vocals from Lil Wayne. NITZER EBB will release a new album 'Industrial Complex' on January 22nd. The band are currently playing US shows and will join DEPECHE MODE as support for some of their shows in early 2010. See GIGS for all their dates. ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN are believed to be planning special shows during which they will perform their first two albums - 'Crocodiles' and 'Heaven Up Here' - in their entirety. The rumours come from comments made by frontman Ian McCulloch in a recent interview to promote the band's new album 'The Fountain'. JAMES have announced that they will release two mini-albums in 2010 and will be playing live shows in April next year.
