Marianne Rosenberg has just released a new album in Germany. It's called "Für Immer Wie Heute" and is preceeded by a single, "Marleen", which is already a big hit in Germany.

This new album is a collection of her most successful singles over the past 30 years and have all been re-recorded and have been produced by a new producers team that also worked with Cher, Enrique Iglesias, George Michael and the Pet Shop Boys.

The old versions where the German answer to the "Barry White Disco-Sound" of the 70's and 80's, the new versions combine new arrangements with more modern electro-beats.

For this new album she also worked with Mousse T., Xavier Naidoo and the "Söhne Mannheims".

MARC ALMOND will release a live DVD, filmed at his recent series of solo concerts at London's Almeida Theatre, on January 10th next year. Although production is still not complete the release, 'Sin Songs Torch & Romance' is expected to feature the full concert plus a number of extras including an interview with Marc and a rehearsal feature.

PET SHOP BOYS are making the rare DJ Hell remix of their classic hit 'West End Girls' available for download from the War Child website for 99p with all profits going to help War Child's work in the world's troubled regions. Former HOUSEMARTIN Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim has also donated a track, an acoustic version of 'Push & Shove' from his new 'Palookaville' album.

PAUL WELLER is to release his cover of SISTER SLEDGE's 'We Are Family' as a single on November 15th. The track, from his recent album of cover versions 'Studio 150' will be accompanied by tracks made famous by Joni Mitchell, Sonny Bono and The Searchers, live tracks and a Beta Band remix of Weller??s last single 'Wishing On A Star'.

EURYTHMICS fans have set-up an online petition to show BMG Records that there is a real demand for the band's greatest hits CD and DVD and catalogue reissues which were recently pulled from the release schedules without explanation. BILLY IDOL is to release a new album next year. 'World Comin' Down' will come out on the Sanctuary label with the actual release date pencilled for March 2005.

TEARS FOR FEARS classic song 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World' has been honoured by the BMI for receiving over four million plays on US radio since it's 1985 release.
