We are pleased to announce details of a deluxe CD/DVD edition of 'Happiness' by HURTS.

In just over 12 months, Hurts have gone from relative unknowns to the fastest selling new UK artist of the year worldwide.

To celebrate the end of the Happiness campaign - and to mark the band's biggest tour to date in October and November, ending at the Brixton Academy - Hurts will release a deluxe edition of Happiness on 31st October.

The album will be the first time that all of the band's songs will be on one format, including live favourites Happiness and Confide in Me, as well as the first time that their festive song All I Want for Christmas is New Year's Day is available on anything other than 7".

This deluxe extended version of the album comes with a DVD of one of the band's biggest summer shows, at Berlin's Zitadelle Spandau.

The 16-camera film has the band's full show filmed live in front of 30,000 people. The gig was previously streamed live on the Hurts facebook page and watched by more than 100,000 people. The DVD also includes all the music videos for the first time, including the previously internet only videos for Wonderful Life and Blood, Tears & Gold.

The five-track package features the single, a cover of the 'Tomorrow's World' theme (in case you didn't already know, 'Tomorrow's World' was a TV show about future science and technology that ran in the UK for about thirty years!) and three very different styles of remix from Little Loud, Kris Menace and Steve Smart & Westfunk??? something for everyone I hope!

The single is out now which means that it's just a few clicks away from becoming part of your Erasure collection??? the single is available on CD but that format is only available locally in the UK, Germany and France (although it seems that it is already sold out at the major French retailers???) so if you're not in any of those countries then you'll either need to track down an import copy (which can be an expensive way of doing it), or buy online from one of the retailers below and have it shipped internationally. The CD - which incidentally has been the number one single on Amazon UK for most of the last ten days - comes in gorgeous digipac packaging and looks stunning (it also feels really nice to the touch, but that might be just me!)???

Mute have produced three different videos for 'When I Start To (Break It All Down)' for online use; a montage video, using live and backstage footage from the 'Total Pop!' shows; a rehearsal video recorded in London in July during preparations for the Tomorrow's World tour; and an animated video set to the Steve Smart & WestFunk Main Room Mix Edit version of the song and if that's not enough there's also a short video for the track 'Tomorrow's World'! If you've been paying attention to these newsletters over the last month or so then you'll probably have already seen them, but just so you know, they are all available for your viewing pleasure on Erasure's official YouTube channel and in the news section of the Erasure website???

'WHEN I START TO (BREAK IT ALL DOWN)' 5-TRACK CD SINGLE - INTERNATIONAL AVAILABILITY
It's been fantastic to get so much great feedback about the fact that the 'When I Start To (Break It All Down)' single is going to be available as a 5-track CD in addition to the usual download format, however it seems that the diminishing market for CD singles around the world means that the CD single will only be available locally in the UK and France. So if you want the CD version of 'When I Start To (Break It All Down)' (which, like the album, looks absolutely brilliant!) I suggest you order from Amazon UK who currently have it on pre-order for a bargain price of just £3.54. If you order now your CD will be on its way to you before you know it!

'TOMORROW'S WORLD' ALBUM - US RELEASE DATE CHANGE
Just to let you know that due to circumstances beyond our control the release date for the 'Tomorrow's World' album in the USA has slipped a week from October 4th to October 11th. The album is currently available to pre-order at Amazon and iTunes in the USA, and if you pre-ordered it with concert tickets then your album will now arrive on or around October 11th.

Last week the influential website Digital Spy was exclusively streaming some footage - filmed in London before the South American Total Pop! dates - of Erasure rehearsing 'When I Start To (Break It All Down)' for the 'Tomorrow's World' tour dates.
