David Bowie has launched a surprise new single exclusively on iTunes ahead of a new album to be released in March, his first in 10 years.??The single, titled Where Are We Now, was released on the iTunes Store in 119 countries this morning with pre-orders for David Bowie’s 30th studio recording The Next Day also available via the Apple platform.

??
The new releases come from Iso/RCA Records and have been produced by long-time Bowie collaborator Tony Visconti.
Where Are We Now was written by David Bowie and recorded in New York. The single is accompanied by a haunting video directed by Tony Oursler which harks back to David's time in Berlin. He is seen looking in on footage of the auto repair shop beneath the apartment he lived in along with stark images of the city at the time and a lyric constantly raising the question Where Are We Now? The video for the new single can be found on the David Bowie website.

Mari Wilson
first broke through thirty years ago with the 1982 hit Just What I Always Wanted. In spring 2012 Mari Wilson released Cover Stories, a new studio album funded by fans through Pledge Music. For this album she teamed up with string-arranger, orchestrator, composer and pianist Simon Hale, to record some of her favourite songs. “I’ve never made an album of covers before and thought it was about time, especially as I perform some of these songs in my show and have often been asked if they are available on CD”. The likes of the Bee Gees, The Pretenders and Gillian Welch have all been given the Mari Wilson treatment and finally, having played Dusty Springfield in Dusty; The Musical, Mari Wilson has as last recorded a Dusty song.??
??
Now entering her fourth decade as a recording artist Mari Wilson is reconciled with her past and excited about the future.

English rock band Suede are to release their first new material in 10 years with new album Bloodsport due in March and free download track Barriers available now.
??

??

??
This will be preceded by the release of the official lead single
It Starts And Ends With You in February.

Brett Anderson said: “The album is called Bloodsports. It's about lust, it's about the chase, it's about the endless carnal game of love. It was possibly the hardest we've ever made but certainly the most satisfying. It's ten furious songs for me have reclaimed from ourselves what
Suede was always about; drama, melody and noise.”

To coincide with the release of their sixth studio album, Suede will perform at a one-off headline show at Alexandra Palace in London on March 30.

Full details including the tracklisting, details of a deluxe direct-to-fan edition and the exact release date will be announced shortly.
