ERASURE have announced that their new album - set for release on October 3rd - will be called 'Tomorrow's World' and will be preceded by a new single 'When I Start To (Break It All Down)'. The band will also tour the album internationally - including shows across South America, the USA, Europe and the UK - and all the dates are in the GIGS section.

RODDY FRAME has announced his first dates with a full band for over ten years with news of a nine-date UK tour in October where he will perform material from his solo career alongside a few favourites from AZTEC CAMERA. See GIGS for all the dates.

HEAVEN 17's MARTYN WARE will curate the 'Electronic Revue' at London's Southbank Centre on July 29th. The event - which Ware is curating with Mark Jones as part of the Vintage Festival - will feature live sets from ONETWO, HEAVEN 17 and guests, RECOIL, THOMAS DOLBY and up and coming electronic act Mirrors.

MADNESS frontman SUGGS will publish his autobiography via Quercus Books in Autumn 2012, while MORRISSEY is rumoured to be publishing his own much-anticipated autobiography in December next year.

JOHN FOXX AND THE MATHS are to take their excellent new album 'Interplay' on the road for a run of UK dates in October. The shows will feature material from 'Interplay' alongside classic tracks from early ULTRAVOX and John Foxx's solo catalogue. See GIGS for all the dates.

GARY NUMAN has announced that his new album 'Dead Son Rising' will be released on October 22nd although a limited-edition deluxe edition of the album will be available at his UK tour dates in September. See GIGS for all the dates???

KATE BUSH is rumoured to be releasing a new album in November on the back of the success of her 'Director's Cut' album in May when she revealed that she had done most of the writing for the new record.

HEAVEN 17 will play their classic 1983 album 'The Luxury Gap' in its entirety at London's Roundhouse on October 14th using 3D soundscape composition techniques pioneered by the band's MARTYN WARE and VINCE CLARKE. The show will be followed the next night by a B.E.F. evening of performances of tracks from the classic B.E.F. 'Music of Quality and Distinction' albums which will feature guest appearances from a range of artists including KIM WILDE, SCRITTI POLITTI's GREEN GARTSIDE, MIDGE URE, GLENN GREGORY and BOY GEORGE.

FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD's PAUL RUTHERFORD will see his 1989 solo album 'Oh World' get a UK release for the first time on July 25th. The expanded 2CD edition will feature the original album alongside 17 bonus tracks, including a cover of CHIC's 'I Want Your Love' produced by MARTIN FRY and MARK WHITE of ABC.

DAVID BOWIE is the subject of a new book from Paul Trynka entitled 'Starman: David Bowie – The Definitive Biography'.

SHAKATAK will play a one-off show at The Stables in Wavendon, near Milton Keynes on Saturday September 10th.

DEXYS MIDNIGHT RUNNERS have confirmed that they are working on their first studio album since 1985. The band are currently in the studio and are hoping to release the new record sometime in 2012.

SOFT CELL mainman DAVE BALL is back with a new band project, Nitewreckage, whose debut album 'Take Your Money and Run' - co-produced and mixed by Dave Ball and the great Martin Rushent - is available now, with a single, 'Solarcoaster' released alongside it accompanied by a brand new video.

WET WET WET are rumoured to be planning to reunite next year to release a new studio album and embark on a reunion tour.

FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD have finally released the expanded 2CD deluxe edition of their 'Liverpool' album, featuring the original album remastered alongside 100 minutes of bonus material.

RECOIL mainman ALAN WILDER is to auction off a huge collection of DEPECHE MODE memorabilia in September. The items - which will include award discs, leather clothing, rare acetates & test pressings, artwork, posters, tour merchandise and more - will be available to view online throughout August and the auction will take place over two days in Manchester on September 2nd and 3rd which will also feature events, DJs and a screening of a new DVD documentary 'Alan Wilder – Collected' which covers the stories of the items featured in the auction.

FIVE STAR are lining up a reunion tour for 2012 and have announced news of a new album which is 'coming soon'.

EURYTHMICS' DAVE STEWART is collaborating with MICK JAGGER in a new band project, with the working title 'Super Heavy' that also includes Damien Marley, Joss Stone and AR Rahman.

NEW ORDER have released a previously unreleased song 'Hellbent' as part of a new 18-track compilation of New Order and Joy Division material entitled 'Total: From Joy Division To New Order' which is out now.

JOHNNY MARR will release a new album from his solo project The Healers in early 2012 and is also working on his autobiography and some film and TV soundtrack projects.

GEORGE MICHAEL has said that he wants his next album to made by 'a gay collective' of artists and is hoping to work on it during the gaps between shows his upcoming twelve date orchestral tour, see GIGS for all the dates.
