ULTRAVOX have added more shows to their 2010 'Return To Eden 2' dates. New shows - in the UK, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Norway, Sweden and Germany - have been added, see GIGS for all the dates. The band will also be announcing details of 'Live at The Roundhouse', a live CD and DVD recorded on the first leg of the band's reunion dates earlier this year.

U2 are to headline the 2010 Glastonbury Festival.

ARCADIA will reissue their classic 'So Red The Rose' album on February 8th in a special expanded and remastered 3-disc edition featuring 2 CDs and a DVD. See NEWS for the full tracklisting.

ABBA have been voted as the band the UK public would most like to see reform for live dates according to a recent survey by the royalty collection agency the PRS. In second place came THE POLICE with THE SMITHS and PINK FLOYD in joint third place. THE JAM came fifth while DIRE STRAITS and THE CLASH took the next two places.

SPANDAU BALLET will release a live DVD on November 30th featuring footage from their recent reunion shows at London's O2 Arena alongside special backstage material. See NEWS on the website for the full concert tracklisting.

SADE will release her first new album for almost a decade next year. The album, entitled 'Soldier of Love', will be released on February 8th.

DEPECHE MODE fans are the subject of a new documentary film entitled 'The Posters Came From The Walls' which will have a UK premieres around the country on December 1st, including a showing at the Clapham Picturehouse in London which will feature not only the film but also a special Q&A session with the film's directors and some special guests. RICH KIDS, featuring MIDGE URE, RUSTY EGAN, STEVE NEW and GLEN MATLOCK, are to play a one-off reunion show at London's Islington Academy on January 7th. The show is a benefit for Steve New and special guests are expected to be announced soon.

THE BLOW MONKEYS will play a special one-off show in Vienna at Bach (Bachgasse 21) on Saturday December 12th.

OMD have made a demo version of a brand new track 'Sister Marie Says' available from their official website. The track is a preview from the forthcoming OMD album 'The History of Modern' which will be released in 2010, see NEWS for download details.

ALISON MOYET will see the catalogue albums she recorded for Sony reissued in expanded 2-CD editions next year. The albums - 'Alf', 'Raindancing', 'Hoodoo' and 'Essex' - will all be remastered for the series of reissues which will start in early 2010 and are expected to feature a second CD featuring b-sides and remixes.

TEARS FOR FEARS will play four dates in the Far East in May after their supporting slot with SPANDAU BALLET in Australia. The headline shows will take place in Manila, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taipei in May, see GIGS for all the dates.

MICHAEL JACKSON won four posthumous American Music Awards this week, winning the categories for favourite male pop/rock artist and favourite male soul/rhythm & blues artist, while his 'Number Ones' album won both the favourite pop/rock album and the favourite soul/rhythm & blues album awards.

ADAM ANT and DEBBIE HARRY's 1996 movie 'Drop Dead Rock' is to be reissued on DVD on December 8th.

GO WEST will celebrate their 25th anniversary next year with a special UK tour that is set to start on April 8th in Cheltenham. Twelve shows have been announced so far, with more show expected to be announced shortly. See GIGS for all the dates.

PAUL WELLER will play two special shows at London's Royal Albert Hall on May 24th and 25th next year. The shows, which will see Weller perform with a full band will form part of the promotion for his new aolo album which is scheduled for a Spring 2010 release. In the meantime Weller has made a new track '7 & 3 Is The Strikers Name' available as a free download from his official website, see NEWS for more details.
