MORRISSEY has announced a six night residency at London's Roundhouse in January. The singer will play the recently reopened venue between January 21st and 23rd and again between January 25th and 27th.

MARC ALMOND has made two exclusive extra tracks available for the download version of his current 'Stardom Road' album to anyone buying the album on iTunes. The tracks are covers of Johnny Ray's 'Cry' and Antony Hegerty's 'River of Sorrow' and were both recorded during the sessions for 'Stardom Road'.

SIOUXSIE SIOUX will play a short US tour in February in support of her current album 'Mantaray'. See GIGS for all the dates.

THE HUMAN LEAGUE will release a new edition of their classic hit 'The Things That Dreams Are Made Of' this week on producer Martin Rushent's own Genetic label. The single will be released on very limited 7" and 12" vinyl and will feature a new remix of the song from Rushent, the 'More Of Mix'. and a 'Vocal Mix' from Justus Kohncke.

BOY GEORGE has announced a full UK tour for 2008 following his previously announced London residency at The Shaw Theatre in January. The fourteen new shows will start in Llandudno on january 30th and finish in Buxton on February 24th. See

THE HUMAN LEAGUE, TONY HADLEY, HEAVEN 17, LIMAHL, TOYAH and FOURGOODMEN will all appear at a once day retro festival in Scotland next year. 'Back To The 80s' will take place on May 31st at Braehead Arena in Glasgow.

HOWARD JONES, GO WEST, T'PAU, BUCKS FIZZ, THE REAL THING and CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT will all appear at a 48-hour 80s party at Pontins in Camber Sands over the weekend of February 29th, alongside a number of tribute acts at DJs.

THE BLOW MONKEYS hare reformed to record a new album and are also planning an extensive tour next year. The line-up will feature all four of the band's original members and the band are hoping to offset the costs of recording and releasing the new album by asking their fans to pledge to buy the record upfront of release in exchange for a signed, numbered edition of the record, a thank you letter personally signed by the band, entry into a draw for concert tickets and regular video updates on the progress of the recording.

GRACE JONES will release a new album 'Corporate Cannibal', her first album for almost twenty years, next year. The album is said to feature contributions from Tricky and Brian Eno...

ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN will play a special one-off show at London's Royal Albert Hall on September 16th next year where they will perform their 'Ocean Rain' album with full orchestral accompaniment.

SPARKS will play an epic 21 show residency at London's Islington Academy in May according to rumours. The band will dedicate each night to a different album from their 20 album catalogue with the final night dedicated to their forthcoming new album.

VISAGE have released a new single as a download to support the UK charity 'Children In Need'. The track, 'Diary Of A Madman', is available to download from the band's website.

GO WEST have released a live DVD '21 - Live At The Lowry' featuring a concert the duo performed at Manchester's Lowry Theatre in November 2006 which saw the band perform not only their debut album in its entirety but also a selection of other songs from all stages of their career. A-HA frontman MORTEN HARKET has been added to the bill of artists performing at the forthcoming Nobel Peace Prize concert which will take place on December 11th in Oslo.

KATE BUSH has recorded a brand new track for the forthcoming film 'The Golden Compass'. The track, entitled 'Lyra', will feature on the soundtrack album and will be available to download from December 12th.
