07 Aug 2007 - A Camp - Live In The USA

A CAMP – the side project of The Cardigans' frontwoman Nina Persson – to play First US Shows EVER!
August 6th, 2007 - Union Hall, Brooklyn NY - SOLD OUT
August 8th, 2007 - Knitting Factory, New York City, NY
Nina will be joined for these very special evenings by film composer Nathan Larson (ex-Shudder to Think, Girls Against Boys), Kevin March (Guided By Voices, The Dambuilders), follow Swede Niclas Frisk (Atomic Swing) and Cat Martino.
First heard of in the year 2001 with the release of the band's self titled debut, A Camp's music is a minimalist fusion of eclecticism and Americana. The debut A Camp record involved indie rock luminaries from both sides of the Atlantic: Sparklehorse's Mark Linkous both produced and played, as well as Nathan Larson, drummer Kevin March, Joan Wasser (Joanaspolicewoman), and Niclas Frisk. A CAMP toured extensively in Europe on the strength of the single "I Can Buy You" and Nina's touring band included members of Soundtrack of Our Lives as well as the studio players. The album was awarded 4 Swedish Grammies and met with much critical praise abroad and stateside, despite the record's availability only on import. For more information, please check:
