GARY NUMAN will headline two special 'Back To The Phuture' shows in December with differing support acts - including JOHN FOXX and RECOIL - at the shows in Manchester and London. The Manchester show will take place at the O2 Academy and will feature Numan, Recoil and Motor playing live plus DJ sets from Richard H Kirk and Mark Jones, and the London show will happen at The Troxy on December 3rd and will feature John Foxx instead of Recoil.

BIG COUNTRY have announced UK shows for January 2011 featuring vocals from THE ALARM frontman MIKE PETERS stepping into the shoes of former frontman, the late STUART ADAMSON. The line-up for the shows will be Tony Butler, Mark Brzezicki, Mike Peters, Bruce Watson and Jamie Watson. See GIGS for all the dates.

THE BUGGLES have announced that they are to reform for a one-off show to raise funds for London's Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. The show will see the band perform their debut album 'The Age of Plastic' in its entirety on September 28th at The Supperclub in London where they will be supported by OMD who will play a rare two-piece set.

YAZOO will make an unreleased track from 1983 available exclusively via iTunes with preorders of their forthcoming 2CD live album 'Reconnected Live'. The track, 'Get Set', was originally recorded as the theme to the BBC Children's TV show 'Get Set For Summer'.

THE BANGLES' 1986 album 'A Different Light', which featured the hits 'Manic Monday' and 'Walk Like An Egyptian', will be reissued in an expanded 2CD set on September 20th. The release will contain the original album on one disc plus a bonus CD of extra tracks including remixes and b-sides. See NEWS for the full album tracklisting.

THE STRANGLERS have announced a seventeen-date UK tour to take place in March next year. The 'Black & Blue' tour will start in Newcastle on March 4th and end in Manchester on March 26th. See GIGS for all the dates.

A-HA will play a special inshore show at London club Heaven on October 8th. The show is in association with HMV who are offering tickets to be won by customers pre-ordering the upcoming A-Ha retrospective 'A-Ha - 25'.

CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT's classic 'Keep Your Distance' album will be reissued on September 19th in a new edition featuring seven bonus tracks, including four 12" remixes. See NEWS for the full album tracklisting.

THE ICICLE WORKS will reform for a run of dates in April and May next year to mark their 30th anniversary. See GIGS for all the dates.

DEAD OR ALIVE frontman PETE BURNS has released a new single 'Never Marry An Icon' via digital download on all the major download platforms. The song, co-written with Dirty Disco, is out on the Bristar label, run by Burns' manager and former bandmate STEVE COY.

SQUEEZE will release a new album. 'Spot The Difference', on October 11th, a collection of 14 new versions of their best-loved hits. The album will be preceded by a new single 'Loving You Tonight'. A deluxe edition of the album will also be available and will feature a live recording of the band’s recent set at the legendary Fillmore. SONIA's 'Everybody Knows' album will be reissued next week in a remastered edition with eight bonus tracks, including 12" mixes, b-sides and covers. See NEWS for the full album tracklisting.

BROS are not likely to reform any time soon, despite recent rumours, according to frontman MATT GOSS who confirmed that the band were approached with the idea but now consider the moment to have passed.
