19 Mar 2007 - Saint Etienne News

Tickets are now on sale for This Is Tomorrow,??the latest film/music event by Saint Etienne on June 29th at the Festival Hall in London. It's what's known in the trade as a "creative documentary" about the Hall, the Festival Of Britain, and the history of the site.
??
The soundtrack will be played live by the regular Saint Etienne band - only this time they're backed by a 60 piece orchestra and a 30-strong choir. It won't sound much like Deep Purple's Concerto For Group And Orchestra, though. Keeping everyone in check is John Cameron who wrote the scores for Kes and Poor Cow, as well as arranging all Donovan's greatest recordings.
??
The film is 75 minutes long and it will include a bunch of brand new songs, some of which we're still working on, but those already nailed include Say It To The Rain, Miss Trudy Jones, Out In The Cold, and Magic Mike McCart.

The Southbank Centre website has been saying the event is sold out but of course it isn't.
