MARC ALMOND, SHAKIN' STEVENS and THE BLOW MONKEYS' DR ROBERT will all appear on the bill of a special show celebrating Marc Bolan which will take place at London's Shepherds Bush Empire on September 15th.

JOHN FOXX will release a 2CD version of 'Metamatic' on September 3rd, featuring the original album with demo tracks, alternate versions, outakes and b-sides. The release will be the first in a series of reissues that will see all four of Foxx's Virgin label albums released as expanded 2CD editions. KRAFTWERK
have had two tracks remixed by Hot Chip for a new single which will be released on September 17th. The release will feature two tracks from Kraftwerk's 2003 album 'Tour De France'; 'Aerodynamik' and 'La Forme'. The single will be released on CD, limited edition 12" vinyl and via download.

MADONNA's new album is the subject of all sorts of internet rumours after part of a new track 'Candy Shop', a collaboration with Justin Timberlake and N.E.R.D's Pharell Williams was leaked online. The album is rumoured to be currently titled 'Black Star' and it is thought that the release may come as early as October this year...

RICK ASTLEY is the subject of a new retrospective 'Together Forever - The Best Of Rick Astley, a double CD compilation of thirty-six tracks including eight UK top-ten single hits. See NEWS on the website for the complete tracklisting.

BOY GEORGE will play a series of concerts at London's Shaw Theatre between January 23rd and February 27th next year with more details about the exact dates and booking information to be announced shortly.

PAUL YOUNG's reissues series will continue on September 3rd with the release of a double CD version of 'Between Two Fires' featuring the original album alongside single b-sides, 12" mixes and one track unique to the album. Paul Young is also in talks about releasing a very special edition version of his most successful album 'No Parlez', containing mixes, videos and unreleased tracks, to be released next year to coincide with its twenty-fifth anniversary. 's former guitarist ANDY TAYLOR has signed a publishing deal with Orion for his autobiography which is expected to be published next year.

T'PAU singer CAROL DECKER has announced the forthcoming release of a new single entitled 'Just Dream'. The track will be available from iTunes and all major download stores from the first week of September.

ADAM AND THE ANTS mainman, guitarist MARCO PIRRONI is to play a one-off live show - his first live appearance for many years - with his new band The Wolfmen on September 15th at London's Paul Raymond's Revue Bar to lauch the new Wolfmen single 'Cecilie' which is released on September 17th.

PAT BENATAR is planning an album of acoustic versions of her biggest hits, to include 'Love Is a Battlefield', 'We Live for Love', 'Promises in the Dark' and 'Hell Is for Children' which is expected for release next year. Benatar is also working on a book which she is loosely describing as autobiography but focuses particularly on her experiences in the music industry during a time when women were becoming increasingly prominent on the rock scene.

SPANDAU BALLET singer TONY HADLEY is to present his own radio show on UK station Virgin Radio. The show, 'Virgin Radio Party Classics' - currently hosted by MADNESS singer SUGGS will run on Friday evenings from August 3rd.

NEW ORDER bassist PETER HOOK is threatening legal action against his former New Order bandmates BERNARD SUMNER and STEPHEN MORRIS to prevent them from using the 'New Order' name for future projects.??
